FEZ - Moroccan authorities arrested Friday two suspected terrorists with links to the terrorist cell which was dismantled last month in Fez, a tourist destination and spiritual centre.

The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) nabbed the two suspects in the imperial city of Fez and seized an arsenal of white weapons, signs to carry out jihad and to pledge allegiance to the Islamic State group along with several electronic devices, said the Interior Ministry in a statement.

Morocco was a victim of terror attacks in Casablanca in 2003 and Marrakech in 2011, which killed a total of 50 people and injured dozens.
