ALGIERS - Algeria expects energy export revenues to reach $50 billion by the end of 2022, compared with $35.4 billion in 2021, the head of state-owned gas company Sonatrach said, according to the official APS news agency.

The oil market has been supported by supply anxiety after sanctions on oil shipments from Russia, the world’s second-largest oil exporter, and worries Russian output could fall due to sanctions on equipment needed for production.
