Aramco executive says natural gas is now a permanent energy fixture

RIYADH - Saudi Aramco's Executive Vice President for Strategy and Corporate Development Ashraf Al Ghazzawi said on Wednesday that natural gas is no longer viewed merely as a transitional fuel but is now considered a permanent fixture in the energy landscape.

Al Ghazzawi also said that gas is positioning itself as a key enabler of the growth in demand associated with artificial intelligence.
