Bahrain, Iran agree to start talks on resuming political ties

Iran's acting FM and Bahraini FM hold talks in Tehran on ways to resume political relations between the two countries.

CAIRO - Bahrain and Iran have agreed to start talks aimed at resuming political relations between the two countries after nearly eight years, Bahrain's state news agency reported on Sunday.

This came in a meeting that brought together Bahrain's minister of foreign affairs Abdullatif Al-Zayani and Iran's acting foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani in Tehran.
