RABAT - The African Conference on High Energy Physics will hold its first edition in Morocco October 23-27.
Held under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, and with the approval of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), this conference promises to be a flagship moment in the field of science, bringing together internationally renowned researchers and young talents from Africa and the rest of the world.
ACHEP is an exceptional platform dedicated to scientific cooperation aimed at encouraging research in high energy physics in Africa.
This initiative will highlight recent advances in various fields such as particle physics, nuclear physics, particle accelerators, and many others. It will also create a valuable opportunity to discuss possibilities for future collaborations between African researchers and their counterparts from the rest of the world in these crucial scientific fields.
Scheduled to take place simultaneously in Rabat and Kenitra, ACHEP2023 will focus on exciting topics such as research on the Higgs boson, dark matter, dark energy, and other related fields.
The conference will include oral presentations, round tables, workshops, as well as displayed presentations, allowing participants to engage in enriching scientific discussions.
Additionally, ACHEP2023 will dedicate a special session to education and awareness of science, demonstrating its commitment to the development of the next generation of African scientists.
