USAFMC hails US-Moroccan ties

Neugebauer says Morocco will remain forever one of Washington’s best friends during working visit of delegation of former US Congressmen to Rabat.

RABAT - Randy Neugebauer hailed the US-Moroccan friendship in a visit of the delegation of former US Congressmen to the North African kingdom.

“Morocco is one of the oldest friends of the United States and will remain forever one of its best friends,” said Randy Neugebauer, a member of the US delegation.

The US Association of Former Members of Congress (USAFMC) is currently on a working visit to Morocco, which runs from 9 to 15 September, as part of efforts to promote Morocco’s interests to US lawmakers.

Neugebauer said that Moroccan-American relations testify to the solid friendship between the two countries in a statement to the press after a meeting of the delegation with the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and international cooperation, Mounia Boucetta.

“We have learned a great deal about Morocco and the challenges it is facing," he said, adding that the two countries are called upon to further boost their ties in a bid to face the challenges they face.
