Four arrested in drug trafficking in Morocco

The police arrest four individuals in the act of attempting to deliver a shipment of cocaine and cannabis resin in Marrakech.

RABAT - Four people, aged between 20 and 32, were arrested Wednesday for their alleged involvement in a drug possession and trafficking case in Marrakech. 

The suspects were apprehended in the act of attempting to deliver a shipment of cocaine and cannabis resin. 

The police seized in their possession 798 grams of cocaine and one kilogram of cannabis resin. In addition, two vehicles suspected of having been used to facilitate these illegal activities were seized.

The defendants were placed in police custody at the disposal of the judicial inquiry conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, to identify all the criminal acts of which they are accused.
