BAGHDAD - Three US servicemen were killed in Iraq, including two US marines in the restive western province of Al-Anbar, the US military announced on Friday.
The marines, one from a unit stationed in the western Euphrates valley, the other stationed in Fallujah, died in clashes on Friday.
On Thursday, a US soldier was killed in the northern Nineveh province and two others were wounded in clashes with insurgents.
The latest deaths bring the number of US fatalities in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion to 2,941 according to a count based on Pentagon figures. In December alone, at least 58 have died.
