UAE expands humanitarian reach with relief effort in flood-stricken Syria

ABU DHABI – The United Arab Emirates has launched an urgent humanitarian relief operation for communities affected by severe flooding along Syria’s Euphrates River, underscoring the country's long-standing commitment to rapid disaster response and support for populations facing humanitarian emergencies.

The emergency assistance, delivered under the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and coordinated through the UAE Aid Agency, aims to provide immediate relief to families whose lives have been disrupted by rising floodwaters that have inundated large areas of northern and eastern Syria.
